Classes & Exhibits

 There will be special events planned throughout  the year!

  • The Kenosha Art Association annual Spring Art Event was held at the  Kenosha Public Museum in the Daimler Chrysler room on Saturday, April 16th from 1-4 p.m. The event featured an art exhibit and competition and artist guest speaker. Open to any artist age 18 or over, monetary donations accepted. (For registration forms, contact the KAA at 262-654-0065 or email KenoshaArtAssoc@yahoo.com)
  • We sponsor the annual Good Old Summertime Art Fair at  Civic Center Park on the first Sunday in June. Entry forms for the 2006 event will be available on-line at the beginning of Jan 2006, due to the overwhelimg response to last year’s event.
  • Members are encouraged to enter their work at the Kenosha County Fair, held during the second week of August, held in Wilmot, WI.
  • Classes are held from September to May, at the Women’s Club basement.
  • We have a membership art show at the Kenosha Public Museum in the fall. It will run from August to November. In 2005, the KAA reception took place at the Musuem on August, and was called Sentimental Journey.
  • The Annual KAA Black and White Event is held on the third Thursday in September. Attendees wear Black and White, and compete in a Black and White Art competition.
  • Dr. Dorian Destruction's Apple Bobbing, Pumpkin Carving, Old Time Halloween Party! is on October 31, 2005 (Monday) Time:  6 p.m.-Midnight  Place: Kenosha Woman's Club, 6028-8th Ave., Kenosha, WI   Tickets:  $10 advance, $12 at door  Open to adults (18+) and kids ages 12-18 with an adult/guardian.   Costumes required!  Prizes Awarded.  Pumpkin Carving Contest-bring your finished pumpkin or carve one there. Apple Bobbing Contest!
  • The annual Holiday Art Auction is a big fund raiser for the KAA, which is  held on the second Friday in November, at the Kenosha Woman's Club, with viewing starting at 6 PM.
